REDFEAIRN
The Redfeairns have been living in the Horn of Africa for 10 years working among unreached peoples. Our vision is to see a healthy church planted within walking distance of every African on the continent. Our current assignment is in a place we call Faraway. It is a small town populated by a Muslim people group called the Afar. We are believing that as we live and work here God’s Spirit will move upon the hearts of our friends and an awareness and hunger for truth will reveal itself.
Our team is operating an English school and also teaching local people sustainable farming practices. Both of these serve the purpose of credibility in the community and country. More importantly they provide us the opportunity to create spaces of belonging with the local people. We see these efforts as a way to develop relationships, learn culture and express the love of Christ to those that otherwise would not have access to a gospel witness.
Your partnership over the years has made it possible for us to live here in Faraway. Thank you. We cherish your continued prayers for the Afar people and for us. Thank you for praying them into the kingdom and lifting us up to the Father.
